KITSPRESS and International Journal of Trends in Finance and Management adhere strictly to the Best Practice Guidelines framed by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and abide by its international Code of Conduct.
1. Assessment of the Article & Peer Review
All submitted articles undergo rigorous peer review by field experts. Reviewers evaluate manuscripts impartially for originality, scientific rigor, methodology, and significance. The peer review process is strictly confidential, and reviewer identities remain anonymous to authors.
2. Anti-Plagiarism Policy
Plagiarism is considered serious academic misconduct. All submitted manuscripts are screened using standard plagiarism detection software (e.g. Turnitin / iThenticate). Manuscripts with significant overlap or unattributed text are rejected immediately. If plagiarism is discovered post-publication, the article will be retracted in accordance with COPE guidelines.
3. Originality & Duplicate Submission
Authors must submit original, unpublished manuscripts that are not currently under consideration by any other journal or conference. Simultaneous submission of the same manuscript to multiple venues is strictly prohibited.
4. Data Fabrication & Falsification
Data fabrication and falsification are unacceptable. Authors must present authentic, verifiable data and maintain accurate records of experimental methodologies and supporting datasets.
5. Conflict of Interests
All authors must disclose any financial or personal relationships that could inappropriately influence their work. Potential conflicts include employment, consultancies, stock ownership, honoraria, and patent applications.
6. Authorship & Contributorship
Authorship should be limited to individuals who made significant intellectual contributions to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the study. All listed authors must review and approve the final version of the manuscript.
